Your CRM isn't lying to you — it's just not telling you everything

Every number in your CRM is technically true and still might be worthless — because it’s only as complete as what actually got entered into it, by hand, by people with better things to do that day.

The gap isn’t the CRM’s fault. It’s the missing pipeline: the connections between the tools that should feed it automatically — the form submission, the support ticket, the invoice — that instead rely on someone remembering to log it. Fix the pipeline and the CRM stops being a record of what people remembered.

A CRM is only as honest as the data pipeline behind it. Most of them don’t have one.
